In its first six months of operations, the Fair Contracting Foundation has investigated dozens
of construction projects involving millions in public dollar infrastructure. Several of these
investigators have unearthed evidence of prevailing wage violators and FCF has filed formal
complaints with Minnesota's Department of Labor & Industry or the appropriate local
government entity.
In months to come, after the accused are given their due process, FCF will post the results of
the complaint as determined by public officials. Return soon for an update!
FCF has met with construction contractors, workers, unions and government entities to
improve lines of communication and educate industry participants on prevailing wages.
FCF has presented at conferences, developed procedures and shared best practices to
uphold Minnesota construction laws.
Whether you are an employer, an employee or an association of contractors, FCF will work
with and for you to answer questions on prevailing wage issues and get results. Our goal is
to ensure wage law compliance on all public construction projects.
